Kerry Footballers of Ballinskellings Come to Russell Park

The Footballers of Ballinskellings County Kerry travelled to Russell Park last weekend. A group of twenty travelled from the beautiful town of Ballinskellings situated on the tip of Ireland. The Kerry lads took endurance training to the max on the Friday & Saturday night before the game on Sunday.

The Match was a very entertaining game with both sides eager to impose their style of play early on  in the wet conditions. The game ended in a draw with several bodies dehydrated after the exhausting game. The lads thoroughly enjoyed the occasion and St Brigids are very grateful to everyone for making the lads feel so welcome. A great weekend was had by all. A big thank you to Brian "Stan" Kevlehan who sponsored the food for the lads.
