Dabhach Dineen stars as Dublin defeat Wicklow in O'Byrne Cup - Sun, 2 Jan 2005

Dublin 0-10 Wicklow 1-5

Dublin progress to meet Louth in the next round of the O'Byrne SF Cup following their victory over Wicklow in Aughrim on Sunday afternoon.

Well done to Dabhach Dineen who played very well and scored a point for the Dublin. Best of Luck against Louth in the next round.

Dublin named a very inexperienced team for Sunday's O'Byrne Cup trip to Aughrim to play Wicklow but came away with the win against a very inexperienced Wicklow team. The Dublin team was made up entirely of players who will be eligible to play under-21 in 2005.

Dublin: David Mitchell (Fingal Ravens), Aidan Downes (Na Fianna), Nicky McGrath (Kilmacud Crokes), Danny McCann (St Mark's); Donnacha Reilly (Skerries Harps), Niall Cooper (Na Fianna), Ger Brennan (St Vincent's); Dabhach Dineen (St Brigid's), Eamonn Fennell (O'Tooles); Brendan Phelan (Kilmacud Crokes), Chris Moore (Nh Maur), Ger O'Meara (O'Tooles); Bernard Brogan (St Oliver Plunkett's/Eoghan Ruadh), Blaine Kelly (St Mary's, Saggart), Mark Vaughan (Kilmacud Crokes).
