Junior B Footballers draw League Promotion Final with Ranelagh Gaels - Mon, 8 Oct 2007

Missing several key players due to the Senior Hurlers Championship match vs Crumlin, the Junior B Footballers had a place in Division 9 snatched from within their sights with the last kick of the game. Ranelagh Gaels finding the net after being five points down with ten minutes remaining.

Trailing 0-5 to 0-4, the lads really upped their game in the 2nd half with Donal Fahy finding the net inside the first minutes of the second half. Three more points secured a five point lead with twenty minutes remaining. Ranelagh Gaels kept chipping away but points from Brian Kevlehan & Conor Hayes kept the gap to five with ten minutes remaining. Ranelagh fought back to three points entering injury time and found the back of the net to force a replay in two weeks time.
