Senior 2 Footballers March into Champo Semi-Finals defeating St Pats - Sun, 14 Sep 2008

A dominant first half display from our Senior 2 Footballers gave them a big cushion for a big St Pats on slaught in the second half. Warren Finnegan and Durmuid Reidy goaled early as the lads played some great football. Their point taking was brilliant and Pats were shell shocked. Craig Kilmurray was mopping up loads of ball around the middle. Anto Briody and Warren Finnegan couldn't miss when the ball was fed into the full forward line.

Leading 2-7 to 1-2 at the break, the lads seemed to let St Pats back into the game. Pats had a head of steam up as they narrowed their deficit to two points with minutes remainng but up stepped Warren Finnegan to score his second goal and seal the lads semi-final spot.
