St Brigids 2-3 Kilmacud Crokes 0-16

The scoreboard read "St Brigids 2-3 Kilmacud Crokes 0-9" with less than 15 minutes remaining in the 2nd Intermediate Football Championship Semi-Final Replay. The lads seemed to run out of steam as Kilmacud Crokes kicked seven unanswered point to reach the decider.The lads had opened brightly to lead 1-2 to 0-1 after 15 minutes but Crokes fought back to lead 0-6 to 1-2 at the break. They edged ahead further to lead 0-9 to 1-2 before Durmuid Reidy pointed and Craig Kilmurray goaled to leave the tie in the melting point. Unfortunately for the lads, they couldn't find the gears to push on from that goal. Hard luck to all involved and lets hope we can translate our fine Championship run into the league.
