Senior 2 Footballers Gain 2 Valuable League Points Against O'Tooles - Mon, 3 Nov 2008

St Brigids 1-14 O'Tooles 1-8

Our Senior 2 Footballers put in a great battling performance against O'Tooles to gain two valuable league point. Having already lost 6 league games by a point this year, the lads were well up for this game. They flew out of the traps building up a six point lead. Anto Briody, Seamus Bonner & Dave O'Connor the chief scorers. O'Tooles finished the half the stronger to trail by two.

They soon levelled up matters in the opening ten minutes of the 2nd half before Craig Kilmurray & Seamus Bonner pointed to edge Brigids ahead. Kilmurray swinging over a point off his left from the right wing. With their tails up, the lads finished the game stronger and now look forward to their next league on Sunday week.
