Kilmacud Crokes 2-11 St Brigids 2-8

The Senior Footballers lost out to Leinster Champions Kilmacud Crokes in their League Semi-Final played in Kiltipper Road. Having enjoyed a fruitful opening peroid where they led 0-3 to 0-1 after fifteen minutes. Scores from Rory Gallagher, Declan Lally & Mark Cahill had the lads in a good position before Crokes fired home two goals to leave them leading 2-3 to 0-4 at the break.

Crokes stretched their lead before Rory Gallagher goaled and points from Paddy Andrews & Bonner narrowed their lead. The lads were pushing on and soon had their arrears to one point when Bonner pointed. Crokes soon introduced fresh legs and sprung to life scoring the next four points. A Kevin Bonner goal was too late to save the lads. Hard Luck and enjoy your break before next season begins.
