Inter 2 Footballers Edge Out Round Towers in Joy Cup Tussle - Tue, 1 Apr 2008

Noel's Cassidy's men had to fight all the way to the end to win this hard fought encounter. Trailing by five points at half time and missing several regulars, prospects did not look good for Noel?s crew. However the introduction of Willa Corbett and some positional switches swung things and a comeback began.

In a tough physical second half with Joe Twomey and Séamus Smith standing strong at the back and Willa Corbett adding the scores Noel?s men went ahead in the closing minutes and held on for a hard fought win. Next up for the lads is a big leagues game versus Ballymun Kickhams next Saturday at 5.30pm in the Phoenix Park.
