Mick Cousins pointed St Brigids in the right direction in Balgriffin. Trailinby four at the break, the lads really needed to up the pace as the forwards lived on scraps in the first half. With the second half underway, the hosts were getting up a head of steam, Cousin stepped in with crucial scores to give Brigids the points. Peter Mulgrew also chipped also as midfielder Conor Clavin. John Dalton and Clavin added further scores to give the lads a valuable two points in this ultra-competitive league. They also beat Round Towers Lusk on Saturday in the Cup so they are coming into some good form ahead of their Championship game vs Kilmcud Crokes on Sunday May 11th in Russell Pk.
