Junior B Footballers defeat in Flood Light League Clash on All-Weather - Mon, 25 Aug 2008

St Brigids 3-10 Castleknock 2-7

Andy Farrell made his return from the sun kissed beaches of San Diego to Russell Pk with a fine display for the Junior B's. Fareell who played wing back scored 0-4 from play and drove his side forward at all times. Centre back Fergal Coonihan who was also just returned from Canada pointed as well in the second half.

The Junior B's did the damage in the opening half with three goals. Willie Tyrell scoring the opener within the first two minutes. Bobby Kilkenny then netted after beating two defender before finishing clinically to the net. Podge O'Reilly soon added a third.The lads now look forward to a Cup Semi-Final vs Ballyboughal away next Sunday at 3pm.
