The Senior 2 Footballers looks like they had done enough to force their Champo Semi-Final to a replay after coming back from 5 points down to leave the game level at 1-6 each down into injury time but St Pats had the final say in the 5th minute of injury time as they scored their decisive point to send them into the final. Slow starts to both halves left the Senior 2's always fighting an uphill battle. They were 3 points down inside the first 15 minutes of the opening half but they clawed their way back into the game to leave the sides 0-3 to 0-3 after 25 minutes. The sides then traded scores to leave the half time score 0-4 to 0-4.

St Pats started the 2nd half in determined fashion as they fired over 2 quick points. These 2 points were followed by a well taken goal from their half back. Pats looked like they were going to run away with the game but a number of substitutions turned the game in Brigids favour. Points from Dave O'Connor  & Cormac Kelly left 3 point between the sides entering the final 15 minutes. A Ken Kilmurray penalty soon had the sides level as he blasted to the net. The lads had the upper hand but were unable to push home their advantage and Pats were to have their period entering the final minutes as they poured forward & eventually found the winner with the last kick of the game.

Hard Luck to the lads. Hopefully they can regroup and push for the play-offs in AFL 2.
