Senior 2 Footballers Edged Out By Clann Na Gael After Extra Time in Champo - Mon, 17 May 2010

Clann Na Gael just edged out our Senior 2 Footballers in a real tussle in Blakestown. The sides were at half time with Clann having to play into a strong gale in the 2nd half but they looked the likely victors until Tim O Donnell grabbed an injury time equaliser to bring the game to extra time but the lads couldn't push on and were beaten by a point. They now face Good Counsel in the back door of the Championship. Speedy recovery to Aodhan McEnenery who picked up a nasty injury during the game.
