Junior A Footballers Edged Out By Castleknock in League Clash - Sat, 22 May 2010

The final 15 minutes cost our Junior A Footballers as Castleknock took control in the closing stage to score 1-3 without reply. A good first half performance left our Junior A's 1-6 to 0-6 at the break. Castleknock opened brightly in the 2nd half to cut the deficit to 1 point but points from Mick Cussen & Lorcan McCarthy restored the 3 point lead. The turning point came with 15 mins remaining when Castleknock goaled and soon added points. Hard luck to the lads, its their first league defeat of the year.
