Inter Footballers Reach Loving Cup Semi-Final defeating Man O'War in Russell Pk - Sun, 23 May 2010

Our Inter footballers booked their place in the semi-finals of the Loving Cup after a 0-13 to 1-06 win over Man O War on Friday evening. The lads led from beginning to end, with Neil Brady (0-1), Gordon Cribbon (0-2) and Allan Hughes all showing well in the first half.

The home side kept the scoreboard ticking over after the break with Mick Gahan and Joe Cassidy on target. Man O War replied with a goal, their only score of the second half, to leave the minimum between the sides before three Whitty points saw Noel Cassidys men into the semi-finals.
