Aodhan McEnerney Shines As Senior Hurlers Open League Campaign With Win - Wed, 25 Mar 2009

St Brigids 1-15 St Marks 0-13

The Senior hurlers won their first league encounter against St.Marks. Brigid's started very well leading by 0-6 to 0-1 after 10 mins but St Marks finished the half the stronger to leave two points between the sides at the break (0-8 to 0-6). The 2nd half was neck & neck until Brigid's fitness told in the final 10 mins. Great displays from Aodhan McEnerney(above) scoring a total of 1-10, 6 pts in 1st half. Also very good defensive display from Willie Tyrrell.
