Inter Hurlers Blitz Liffey Gaels with Five Goals in League Clash - Thu, 6 Aug 2009

Liffey Gaels had no answer to the first half onslaught at the hands of our Inter Hurlers. 3 goals in the opening half subdued their usually high octane approach. Cormac O'Meara(above) scoring the pick of the goals when slotting home from the tightest of angles. Stephen Callinan, Bernard Duggan & Domhnall O'Mahony were thorns in the Liffey defence as they added further points to leave the half time score 3-5 to 0-2.

Liffey Gaels opened the 2nd half brightly but Stephen Callinan stuck the killer blow when angling a shot to the bottom right corner from 20 yards. Cormac O'Meara shipping several hard hits to setup the goal. Robbie Kelly had a storming 2nd half along with Declan Cahill & Dan Brady in defence.
