Two goals midway through the first half from Aodhan McEnerney & Cian O'Mahony sealed victory for our Senior Hurlers. Playing into a gale wind in the opening half, the Seniors were slow to get going and conceded an early goal but soon they were back in the groove with a flurry of points from Daire Plunketts, Cian O'Mahony, McEnerney & Jamie Winters. The first half was neat interplay between O'Mahony and McEnerney. O'Mahony fielding a high puck out & laying it off to McEnerney who buried the sliotar to the net. The 2nd goal was a fine individual effort with O'Mahony slicing through the Plunketts defence to goal. Cathal Doyle & Sean Sullivan were immense in defence with a very difficult wind to contend with. The lads went in 2-7 to 1-4 up at the break.

The 2nd half started as the first finished. Goals from Brendan McEnernery, Jamie Winters & Keith Morris pushed the lads further ahead with several great points from Tom Cleere & Aodhan McEnernery added to the mix. The defence stood tall in the 2nd restricting Plunketts to one point. The Seniors are now in the semi-finals after winning their 5 group games. The next game is the real game now with a place back in Senior A at stake.
