A cracking advertisement for hurling played on the beautiful sod of Russell Pk. Lining out against the 3 in a row Champions, our lads turned in a great performance only to be denied by a goal one minute from time. Boden opened well to lead 0-2 to 0-0 but our lads were soon level 0-3 to 0-3 due to a cracking points from Cian O'Mahony, Daire Plunkett & Paddy McAvinue. Richie O'Keefe soon found the net after a great move all the way up the pitch. Leading by five at the break, the lads were ready for the Boden onsluaght.

Boden had the deficit down to 2 in no time but our lads responded our cracking points from Paddy Mc & Ciaran Kellet. Leading by 4 entering the dying minutes, Boden soon had the deficit down to 3 and a very late goal gave them a share of the point. Well done to the lads, a big improvement on the league encounter vs Croabh. Crumlin & Na Fianna up next week.
