Brigids GAA camps draw summer to a close

This years summer camps at St Brigid's drew to a close last week after a highly successful summer which saw the two new full time coaches at St Brigid's run camps over July and August at the Russell Park complex.

Football hurling, camogie and handball all featured during the camps as well as a host of fun activities. Prizes of footballs, sliothairs and autographed handballs were just some of the many prizes presented over the 6 weeks of the summer camps by an array of GAA stars

Every week the camp was visited by well-known players from around Leinster

Most of these children will now move to the famous St Brigid's academy in Beechpark avenue which returns after it's summer break on Saturday 4th September at 10 AM. All boys and girls of school going age are welcome at the nursery that encourages all to take part and enjoy our national sports in a helpful and friendly atmosphere.
