Its time to support our founding members family for a great cause. The Russell Family sre involved in the LARCC charity. Fr. Tom Russell OFM is an Irish Franciscan working in their well known community at Rossnowlagh, Co. Donegal. He has recorded a charity album in aid of The LARCC Cancer Support Centre based near Mullingar, Co. Westmeath. The album, "Irish Eyes Are Smiling", contains Irish classics such as; My Lagan Love, The Foggy Dew and Roisin Dubh.

Fr. Tom is related to the famous musicians, Micho, Pakkie and Gussie Russell of Doolin, Co. Clare. Working on the CD, Fr. Tom says "the music is at once very Franciscan, very Irish and very personal to me". Tom was inspired by the work of his brother Frank, who is the co-founder of LARCC, which is why he decided to donate all proceeds from the sale of the album to the charity. LARCC (Lakelands Area Retreat & Cancer Centre) is the Midlands Cancer Support Centre and is located near Mullingar, Co. Westmeath. LARCC gives support and holistic help to people living with cancer.
