Old Mobile Phone Collection - New AED Update - Wed, 25 Jan 2012

Following the tragic loss of 20 year old Round Towers hurler and football Ciaran Carr this week, the importance of first aid equipment and AED?s has once again been highlighted in the national media. To date, the club has received 275 old mobile phones. This has secured us our new AED which has been ordered and will arrived in 2-3 weeks. If we can collect a further 75 (350 in total) we will also receive a self-contained heater for the AED which will ensure it?s well maintained.

If we reach our final target, Russell Park will have 2 AED?s, one in the referee?s dressing room beside the all-weather pitch and one between the club bar and hall.
