Kennedy wins historic three in-a-row St Brigid's Eoin Kennedy has recaptured the Men's Open title at the FBD Irish Handball Nationals at Kingscourt in Co Cavan and in so doing become the first ever Senior player to win three titles in-a-row. Speaking after his victory, Eoin, praised his opponent Ricky McCann from Antrim for making it back to a national final a year after breaking his leg and said "It feels great to retain my title and now I intend to concentrate on the upcoming 60 x 30 games. "The facilities and hospitality shown by the Kingscourt Club was fantastic and I'd like to thank them very much." Eoin's father narrowly lost out in the Masters event Golden Master's A Final: loing on a score of 21-15 to 21-19 toDominic Sheridan (Cavan)
