Eoin Kennedy takes on Cavan's Michael Finnegan (Kingscourt) in the 2nd round of the All-Ireland 40 by 20 Singles. Kennedy, the undisputed master of the large (60X30) court, had a smooth passage through the first round, easily defeating Cork's Stephen Palmer (Mallow), while Finnegan, who is Brady's long-term doubles partner, had a similarly decisive win over Tyrone's Shane O' Neill (Brackey). The Dubliner, who is anxious to replicate some of his large (60X30) court successes on the small or international (40X20) court this year, should have too much firepower for the Cavanman.
