Eoin Kennedy & Egin Jenson Bow Out of All-Ireland 40*20 Doubles at Semi-Final Stage - Tue, 24 Mar 2009
Hard luck to Eoin Kennedy & Egin Jenson who bowed out of the 40*20 All-Ireland Doubles at the semi-final stage. They were knocked out by last years beaten finalists, Dessie Keegan and Ricky McCann. Keegan and McCann were in top form in the opening game, and with some great finishing from Keegan, took the first game 21-13. In the second game, Eoin & Egin pushed the men from the West right to the finish but McCann and Keegan held out to win 21-16.
