Paddy Andrews starts for Dublin Minors in Championship this Saturday - Fri, 13 May 2005

Paddy Andrews starts for Dublin Minors

Best of Luck to Paddy Andrews who starts right half forward for the Dublin Minors tomorrow versus Wexford in the Championship. Dublin's minor football starting 15 to meet Wexford in Parnell Park on Saturday (3.30) contains seven players who featured in last year's Leinster campaign. John McCaffrey, Shane O'Rorke, Dermot Connolly, Tom Brady, Russell Cleere, Alan Hubbard and Paddy Andrews all played against Laois and/or Wexford last summer. Dublin's Leinster MFL form was mixed and they will be hoping they can get the Dubs off to a winning start this weekend with the seniors in action in Croke Park on Sunday.

Dublin: David Cassidy (Thomas Davis); Keith Manley (Kilmacud Crokes), Adam Keaney (St Sylvester's), Alan Hubbard (Ballymun Kickhams); Cillians Byrnes (Templeogue Synge St), John McCaffrey (Lucan Sarsfields), Russell Cleere (St Sylvester's); Ross O'Carroll (Kilmacud Crokes), Barry Cullen (Ballyboden St Enda's); Paddy Andrews (St Brigid's), Dermot Connolly (St Vincent's), Shane O'Rorke (Kilmacud Crokes); Barry O'Rorke (Kilmacud Crokes), Tomas Brady (Na Fianna), Philip McMahon (Ballymun Kickhams).

Subs: Eoin Summerville (St Vincent's), David Keogh (St Sylvester's), Conor Connolly (Liffey Gaels), Kevin Nolan (Kilmacud Crokes), Mark Loftus (St Vincent's), Paddy O'Connor (Thomas Davis), Joey Boland (Na Fianna), Shane Durkin (Ballyboden St Enda's), Cathal Morley (Templeogue Synge St).
