Rousing 2nd Half Performance sees Minor Footballers defeat Kilmacud Crokes - Mon, 12 Jun 2006

St.Brigids 5-9 Kilmacud Crokes 1-14

A rousing second half performance by a combined St Brigids minor A and B Team saw the greatest comeback since Lazarus, at Silver Park in the minor summer league last Wed night. Trailing by 1-10 to 0-4 at half time the Brigids lads showed the  bravery and skill to overturn a bigger Crokes team
and run out deserving winners by 7 pts.

Having been swamped in the first half Brigids totally dominated Crokes in the second half  and goals from Aodhan McEnerney(2), James Campbell, Ronan Counihan and Niall Davey swung the match in Brigids favour. This was a great team effort and every player in the 21 deserves full  credit for the character they showed when things were not going their way.

St.Brigids: Jamie Phillips, Oisin Enright, David Dempsey, Mark Hanley, Cian McCaffrey, Joseph Jordan, Dan Brady, Paul Crehan, Sean Murray, Ronan Counihan, Michael O'Doherty, Niall Davey, Daniel O'Mahony, James Campbell, Cormac O'Meara, Aodhan McEnerney, John Dalton, Gavin Kane, Eanan Halferty,Conor McTague,Liam Boyle.
