U10 Footballers Improving All the Time with Match against Whitehall - Thu, 23 Nov 2006
After somewhat of a slow start on versus Whitehall Colmcilles, St.Brigids under 10 team displayed
tremendous determination and a vast improvement as the game progressed. Their tackling and overall display showed confidence. Overall there was great team work amongst all with fine goal keeping from Tadgh Brannagan,Sean O'Malley and Stephen Daly.
Luke Purtill showed some of his fine skills along with Owen Kirk,Conor Brown,James Griffin, Donal McConville,Donal Conroy,Gary McCabe and Donal Timoney. Great scoring from David Frayne,Sean Dunning and Ciaran Meade who worked tirelessly throughout the game. Eoin Cleere,Shane Hourihane, Padraig Courtney, Stephen Murphy worked hard to stop the opposition scoring and gave it their best.
Also a great display from Sean O'Connell,Geoff Brooks, Joseph O' Donovan,Anthony Healy and their colleague's. The Brigid's boys fought hard in the windy conditions and are improving greatly. Three tough games were played with Whitehall being the stronger team on the day. Keep up the good work and well done to all the boys.
