U16 Footballers Progress to Champo Decider with Superb Display - Tue, 3 Apr 2007
Well done to U16 Footballers who turned in a superb display to reach the Championship Final were they will face Whitehall or St Maurs in 3 weeks time. Right from the first minute, the lads never let up They scored a goal within thirty seconds. Their defence was immense holding St Finian's scoreless until the 25th minute of the first half. Leading at half time on a scoreline of 2-9 to 1-0, the lads soon put the match to bed with another superbly taken goal by Colm O'Dea. The game finished 3-16 to 1-9. Quite a score for such windy conditions. A special thank you to Senior Footballers, Ordhan McCann, Cillin McCann & Alan Daly who have been coaching the lads all winter long.
