Minor A Footballers Champo Semi-Final Off due to Death of Mick Holden - Thu, 27 Sep 2007

Due to the sudden death of Mick Holden, the Minor A Championship Semi-Final vs Cuala due to take place this Sunday has been postponed.

Holden was a member of the victorious Dublin side that won the All-Ireland Football Championship in 1983. He died suddenly this morning. Holden played inter-county football and hurling for Dublin and was a member of the Cuala club in Dublin. Mick Holden was a member of the famous '12 Apostles' side that beat Galway in the 1983 All-Ireland SFC final, where four men were sent off, including three Dublin players.

Deepest sympathies to family and friends. Ar dheis de go raibh a hAnaim.
