Minor A Footballers advance to Champo Final defeating Cuala in Tough Battle - Mon, 15 Oct 2007

This Minor SFC A semi final was a tense affair particualry in the first half when Brigid's struggled to translate their superiority on the field into scores. Philip Carroll kicked some excellent frees and this helped them to lead 0-4 - 0 2 at the interval. In the second half Cuala fought back and at one staged had reduced the margin to just one point.

Paul Clerkin, Cian Mullins and the entire defence had fine games for Brigid's A superb goal from Aodhan McEnerney gave Brigid's some breathing space and they eventually ran out clear winners in the end 1 - 9 to 0 - 6. This sets up an all northside final against rivals Na Fianna who defeated reigning champions and clear favourites Kilmacud Crokes to claim their final berth.
