U9 Footballers Enjoy Five Team Blitz in Sunshine of Russell Pk - Mon, 22 Sep 2008

The sun shone on around 120 children from 5 North County clubs who took part in an Under 9 Football blitz hosted by St Brigids GAA on Saturday 13th September. Teams from St. Brigids, Whitehall Colmcille, St Margarets, Round Towers and Parnells played three matches each in what turned out to be a very enjoyable and highly competitive tournament.

The standard of football was exceptionally high from all of the clubs and St Brigids mentors were particularly pleased with the commitment, determination and increasing level of skills shown by all of the 40 or so St Brigids panel. New members are always welcome - St Brigids U9s train at Russell Park on Mondays at 7.15 (Hurling) and Fridays at 7.15 (Football).
