The scoreboard read 0-0 to 0-0 after 10 minutes but the lads really opened up in the next five minutes to lead 2-2 to 0-1 at the break. Clara were fighting for every ball. They were joint top of the group entering this game so it was a real head to head. The 2nd half the lads used the open expanses of the new pitch in Clara to great effect.

A hat-trick of goals from full forward Cian O'Sullivan saw the lads run out comprehensive winners against a very young O'Donovan Rossa side. Their side contained 13 U13 players so its was always going to be tough size wise. They battled to the end though.
