Local businessman Ronan Webster donated every kids dream to St Brigids GAA. The prize was sponsored by Arnotts and it was for a mascot to lead the Dublin team onto the pitch in Croke Park on Sunday next. The juvenile committee had a meeting regarding the prize and decided to give this honour to Luke Purtill who's a very dedicated player in the club. Luke is involved in many teams in the club as his whole family. Luke's grandfather loves pucking sliotars & kicking ball around Russell Pk with Luke.

Luke was very excited at being given this honour as were we his parents, grandfather, relatives and his club and school friends. Arnott's supplied Luke with VIP tickets for the match and also for him to meet up with the Dublin team in Parnell Park before the game. Also they're given him a signed jersey from the Dublin team and organised a car to bring Luke and his family to Croke Park.

It was a memorable day for Luke and us we have to give a big thanks to Ronan Webster who donated this to the club and and also thanks to the Juvenile Committee member's Patricia Timoney, Teresa Hawke, Paddy Winter's, Anne marie O'Meara and many others on this committee. We also have to thank Tanya Meighan in Arnott's for all her assistance with this. Arnotts also gave Luke a voucher to do some shopping in their store.
