Eammon "Silver" Dunning's U16 Hurlers were in dream land yesterday when they came back from three points down with less than 15 minutes to go to win their Championship Semi-Final Replay in Kiltipper Road. They will now face Lucan or Faughs in the final next weekend. The sides were level 0-6 to 0-6 at the break but Thomas Davis opened the second half the brighter and made most of thr running but resolute defending from Will Madden and Paul Winters kept them at bay. Brigids were begining to put the pressure on when Thomas Davis struck with a scrambled goal to lead by three going into the final quarter.

Brigids backs were against the wall but the forwards stepped up to the plate with Philly Ryan & Arron Carolan firing over two points to cut the deficit to one point. Ryan soon had the reds in the lead with another 1-1 and Thomas Davis were unable to get back into the game. Well done to all involved. The upward spiral of this team continues.
