Hard Luck to Aodhan McInerney & Dublin Minor Hurlers in All-Ireland Semi-Final - Sun, 5 Aug 2007

Hard Luck to Aodhan McInerney & the Dublin Minor Hurlers who lost out to Cork in their All-Ireland Minor Hurling Semi-Final. Played in awful conditions, the lads lead 0-8 to 0-4 after 25 minutes but hit them with 2-1 just before half-time to lead 2-5 to 0-8. The game looked like it was going away from the lads when Cork added 5 points inside the opening ten minutes of the second half but Dublin held them scoreless for the rest of the match.

The lads had Cork under pressure for the closing 20 minutes and cut the gap to 3 points with ten minutes remaining. They were unable to break down a stern Cork full back line & were just edged out. Hard Luck & Keep up the good work. Over half of the team is eligible for Minor again next year.
