U8 Hurlers Take Part in First Ever Blitz Drawing the Final - Sun, 9 Sep 2007

Two St Brigids teams attended the recent Hurling Blitz at Pope John Paul II Park, Cabra where they played exceptionally well. In the group stages St Brigids won 3, drew 1 and lost 2 games with one of our teams reaching the final and the other just missing out.

The final was a thrilling match where St Brigids played fantastic Hurling and were a credit to their coaches. They showed great determination and skill in a game that ended in a 3-3 draw with Lucan Sarsfield.

Honours were even at the end but a special mention to Seán Fraine, Mike Byrne, Damien Callaghan and Hugh Hourican for all their hard mentoring work.
