All's going well in the Camogie Section - Fri, 27 May 2005

After the success of last year the camogie section have gone from strength to strength for the first time in their history they have been promoted to senior A status. Although this was a big step they have matured as team and holding there own in Senior A.

The second Adult team was established under the guidance of Paula Gilhooly. A number of past players have returned Elaine Donovan, Elaine Curtain, Andrea Keane and Catherine Quinlin. The junior team have grown from strength to strength with a great mix of old and young players. They are currently at the top of both Cup and league with great win against Erins Isle and Kilmacud. They will be playing the semi final of the cup on the 28th May in the phoenix park against Naomh Padraig. All support welcome

Hard luck to Katie Murphy and Danille Powell on loosing their minor leinster final against Kilkenny on the 14th May. Well done to Catherine King, Emma Sweeney and Aisling Dargan who were on the wining Dublin U14 team which bet Wexford on the 14th May.
