Under 11 Girls Camogie Season Report for 2008 - Fri, 19 Dec 2008

Under 11 camogie had a long successful season playing division 1 in the league and division 2 in the championship. The team found the league to be very competitive and mentors decided to enter division 2 in the championship. They reached the final of the Championship and were narrowly beaten by a score to Naomh Olaf?s. (All scores are equal in under 11 competitions).

Other highlights of the season for the girls were the visit of Salthillknocknacarra to Russell Park in September, going to Croke park to watch the Camogie final and playing Good Counsel under lights in the semi final of championship on the all weather pitch. The mentors would like to thank the under 10 players who subbed up during the year when required. The under 11 player of the year was Niamh O?Neill.
