Senior Camogie Capture Open Cup defeating St Judes in Final - Wed, 9 Apr 2008

Naomh Brid 2-7 St. Judes 1-6

Congrats to the Senior Camogie Team who captured the Open Cup Title last Sunday. This final was played with great passion and skill. Playing with the wind in the first half Naomh Brid had established a 2-4 to 0-2 lead at the interval. St. Judes battled so hard in the second period reducing the lead to just 4 points with some five minutes remaining. But Naomh Brid held out to win. Naomh Brid had stars in Elaine Duncan, Emma Sweeney, Aisling Kirwin, Danielle Powell and Joanne Bruen.
