On bank holiday Monday, a Leinster Under-12 inter-county blitz was held in Carlow Town Hurling Club. Dublin was represented by three teams. The Jackies included eight representatives from the St. Brigids under-12 team, which is currently top of the Division 1 table. All three squads did the Blue & Navy jersey proud. Most of all, the girls enjoyed their day and everybody got a run in the glorious sun for Dublin. The A squad  containing five St. Brigids girls - lost out to Meath in the Division 1 final.

The B squad which included the other three St. Brigids girls - narrowly missed making the Division 2 final, losing out on a shoot-out. The C squad also narrowly missed out on the Division 3 final, again losing out on a shoot-out. The club was well represented on the sidelines too. Under 12 mentors Ken Nyhan and Pat Martin were part of the management team, and a number of families also made the trip to Carlow to cheer on the girls.
