U14 Camogie Team Capture Feile Title defeating Na Fianna in Final - Wed, 28 Oct 2009

Congrats to our U14 Camogie team who captured the U14 Feile title over the weekend. An outstanding performance by Naomh Bríd captain and player of the match Sarah Hawkshaw caught the eye in this encounter. Na Fianna created most of the chances in the first half but failed to capitalise. Had they done so there might have been a different result.

Points from frees by Sarah Hawkshaw for Naomh Bríd to a pointed free Cliona McCullagh left the scores 0-2 to 0-1 in favour of the Blanchardstown girls. After the break, the game swung decisively in Naomh Brid's favour with goals by Sarah Hawkshaw and Aisling Byrne and although Na Fianna fought to the finish, they could not break down a solid Naomh Bríd defence.
