Louise Keegan wins Allstar - Mon, 22 Nov 2004

Congratulations to Louise Keegan who received an Allstar for her starring roles with Dublin during their great championship run. Well done Louise and keep up the good work.

All-Ireland ladies football champions Galway and runners-up Dublin each received four All-Stars at the awards banquet in Dublin on Saturday night, November 20.

National League winners and defeated All-Ireland semi-finalists were honoured with three awards, while first-time Munster champions and League finalists Cork received two. Kerry and Ulster champions Monaghan completed the line-up with one award each.

Galway man Mick Fitzgerald, who steered Kerry to a famous nine in-a-row of All-Ireland titles in the 1980s, entered the Hall of Fame.

Provincial Young Players of the Year - Leinster: F Hudson (Fingallians, Dublin); Ulster: C McConnell (Donaghmoyne, Monaghan); Connacht: T Marren (Curry, Sligo); Munster: L Power (Beara, Cork).
