Ladies Football Presentation Night - Mon, 6 Dec 2004

The ladies presentation night took place in the bar on Sunday evening 5th December. There was a great turnout from the Under 10 team up right up to Senior and a great night was had by all.

Medals

  • The Under 10 team got runner up medals for their part in the Under 10 blitz.
  • The Under 11 team won the championship this year and were presented with their medals by Rory Gallagher.
  • The Under 12 team received medals for both their league and championship wins presented by Louise Keegan who had trained this team at Under 10 level and St Brigid?s coach Tom Broderick.
  • The Under 14 team received their medals for winning the championship shield. These medals were presented by Dublin Senior player Elaine Kelly.
  • The Under 16 team received their runner up championship medals presented by Caroline McGroary.
  • The Minor team received their championship runner up medals presented to them by Dublin County Board Chairperson John Hillary.
  • Junior and Senior teams weren?t receiving medals this year but hopefully next year they will be a little more successful.

Special Presentations

There were 3 special presentations made on the night. Shona Barrett and Noelle Healy received awards for being part of the first Ladies Under 14 Dublin team to win an All Ireland and Louise Keegan received an award for receiving an All Star award for her outstanding performance with the Dublin Senior team this year.

Players of the Year

Players of the year were Amy Molloy (Minor), Aileen Barrett (Junior) and Ciara Lowry (Senior). Well done to all. 
Thanks to all who came down and supported us on the night and also to the committee, presenters and photographers.
