Junior Ladies Footballers sucumb to Ballymun in Tight League Encounter - Wed, 10 May 2006

St Brigids 2-9 Ballymun 3-10

St Brigids juniors met Ballymun Kickhams for the third time is as many weeks - this time in League competition. St. Brigids played with a strong wind in the first half and took some good scores to lead at the break by 6 points on a scoreline of 2-6 to 1-3.

However, Ballymun showed their mettle and experience in the second half. St. Brigids managed ot add a further 3 points against the breeze and defended gallantly to still lead with 10 minutes to go. Ballymun scored 2 goals in the last 10 minutes to take the game by 4 points. The girls take on Raheny away next week in League.
