Ladies Junior Footballers Continue to Progress With Win over St. Judes - Thu, 26 Apr 2007

St Brigids 3-11 St Judes 2-5

The ladies junior team beat a strong St. Judes team by 3-11 to 2-5 away on Wednesday.   Full forward Tara Carolan got 2 goals and Caroline O'Reilly the other. Leanne Greene also scored 5 points from corner forward. The game was controlled by the St. Brigids girls with Aine Burke and Enya Farrell dominating midfield. Fin Ni Dhomhnaill gave an inspirational performance in the goal to keep Judes at bay. Next up the girls face Castleknock in the league in Russell park.
