Shona Barrett Captains Ladies Dublin Minor Footballers To All-Ireland Glory - Tue, 5 Aug 2008
Congratulations to Shona Barrett, Noelle Healy and Enya Farrell and the Dublin Ladies Minor Footballers on their terrific achievement in capturing the All-Ireland Title in Breffini Pk on Monday. St Brigids Shona Barrett had the honour of captaining the team. Noelle Healy made a huge contribution scoring two goals. There was only one score in it at the break but Dublin blitzed Tyrone in the second half winning out 2-18 to 1-4. Noelle Healy also came on as a second half subsitute. It is the second weekend in a row that members of the club have won All-Ireland Titles.
