St Brigids GAA Danone Big Toddle for Barnardos - Wed, 21 May 2008

Get ready...steady...go... go St Brigid's GAA nursery go!

The Danone Big Toddle for Barnardos is Ireland's largest fundraising event for young boys and girls and St Brigids GAA nursery is warming up for their sponsored half mile run. The 5's and younger members of the club will be lining up on Friday May 23 at 6.00 in Russell Park to raise vital funds for Barnardos, Ireland?s leading children's charity.

If yours child is 5 or younger and is able to wobble, toddle, walk or run 1/2 mile come down to Russell Park on 23 May at 6.00 and join in the fun. To receive a sponor card for this event email nursery@stbrigidsgaa.com. We promise this will be a fun event for all the children and we look forward to seeing new facing coming down to Russell Park.

"This is the fifth year of the Danone Big Toddle for Barnardos and each year it gets bigger and better" says Barnardos Fundraising Manager Orla Tighe. "In the past four years the event has raised over 1.2 million and we are delighted everyone in St Brigids GAA nursery are taking on the challenge this year?. This event gives children the opportunity to raise funds for other children while having fun and being active".

The Danone Big Toddle for Barnardos is generously sponsored by Danone which means every cent raised goes directly to Barnardos and its Best Start programmes. These programmes are early intervention services for babies and toddlers in Ireland.
