St Brigids GAA get ready for another Danone Big Toddle! - Wed, 15 Apr 2009

Go online to support the toddlers from St Brigids GAA as they train for the DANONE BIG TODDLE for BARNARDOS

Teams of tots have been spotted in parks and gardens across Castleknock getting their tiny feet in training for the DANONE BIG TODDLE for BARNARDOS. The inspirational toddlers from St Brigids GAA will be taking their baby steps on 24 April 09 at 6.15 to help make a big difference to the lives of the most vulnerable children in Ireland. Friends, families and neighbours can support them at www.barnardos.ie/bigtoddle by clicking on ?Sponsor a Group? and selecting your county.

Remember last year-All the children had great fun doing the toddle. Minister Brian Lenihan and Barry Cahill very kindly took time out of their busy schedules to talk to the children before the walk and signed autographs. Minister Lenihan and Barry cut the starting tape for the walk and cheered the children on during the walk. All the children received a certificated from Barnardos for participating and also received a goodie bag full of well deserved treats. When the walk was over all the younger siblings (age between 1 and 3) took part in a smaller toddle again starting by Minster Lenihan and Barry Cahill. We are proud for all the boys and girls for raising a fabulous ?2,200 for Barnardos. This year we are inviting boys and girls aged 9 and younger to join in the fun and try and raise even more for this excellent cause. If you are interested in getting a sponsor card email nursery@stbrigidsgaa.com.
