Lucky Winner receives Prize - Sun, 6 Feb 2005

At a recent function. John Quilter from Blanchardstown Renault presented 1st Prize in the St Brigid's GAA Nursery raffle to the lucky winner Owen Redmond. Also present are Nursery Co-ordinator Declan McCarthy with his children Shane and Carolyn. Blanchardstown Renault has sponsored this prize for many years now and their help is greatly appreciated by all at St Brigid's.

The nursery resumed on Saturday January 29th and all boys and girls from 5 to 9 are welcome at 10am on Saturday morning in Beechpark Avenue (Opposite Farmhand). During the winter season a hurling nursery is also held indoors in the Russell Park Gymnasium on Friday evenings and has proved very popular with a large number of children taking part each week. Regular indoor hurling tournaments are held during the winter at the different age groups and the finals are held in near by Dublin City University in Glasnevin.
