St Brigids 7-08 Lucan 3-01

Our Junior A Camogie proved their promotion into the Intermediate grade of Dublin Camogie was well deserved after Saturdays stellar performance over Lucan in their opeing day league encounter. Brigids started off strong with an opening goal by Grace Dunne although Lucan quickly replied with a goal of their own keeping the scores close. Brigids maintained pressure getting to halftime with a score of 2-04 - 2-01 in their favour.

Brigids continued to up the tempo in the second half with some impressive scoring from the forward line while Siobhan Cahill continued to convert points from long and short range frees. Caoimhe Ryan proved herself invaluable with her second half hat-trick sealing the win. Final score in favour of Brigids was 7-08 to 3-01. The girls next league match is fixed for March 24th at 11am in Russell Park.
